Nascar Racing Series

NASCAR stands for the “National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing”. The NASCAR racing series is made up of three series. All of the three series have their own characteristics and distinctions. Despite of their dissimilarities, they are still very much a part of NASCAR and a part of each other. If one is a fan of NASCAR, one must definitely be familiar with the NASCAR Busch Series. In terms of professional rivalry, it ranks second in NASCAR. It is in fact very comparable to the Nextel cup in terms of the look of the car, its size and its power. If one is interested in finding more about the NASCAR Busch Series, now is the time to do so as by the end of 2007, it would be no more in continuation. This is due to the fact that the contract with Anheuser-Busch is expiring and there is a look out for a new sponsor for the year 2008. The NASCAR Busch Series races allow the racing fans the exclusive experience to see the future star drivers. This series does not include any famous star drivers as everyone who enters this race does it to make it to the prestigious Nextel Cup.

Craftsman truck series, a complete innovative racing competition began as a result of the immediate popularity of the archetype NASCAR pickup truck. Although both the Nextel Cup series and the Busch series involve racing cars, the NASCAR craftsman truck is in a class of its own. Initially called the Super Truck series, The Craftsman Truck Series is one of the three divisions of NASCAR. It is significantly different from the other two divisions of the NASCAR series in the sense that its rules keep altering. However, the basic racing principle is sustained. In the beginning some people were not so enthusiastic about the craftsman truck series or NASCAR super truck series introduced by craftsman. Now though many of them have come across to appreciate its level of depth. Also they have started to consider that many of the drivers in the NASCAR craftsman truck series race for the first time without any experience in any other series.

In terms of standing, the NASCAR Nextel cup is on the very top. The drivers who are participating in the NASCAR Busch series actually do so to get in the Nextel cup. The Busch series does not have as large a fan following as does the Nextel cup. However, despite that, it still is quite popular amongst the NASCAR fans as it gives them a chance to determine who will be the next big thing in NASCAR. There are some who believe that you should start off with the Craftsman Truck series if you want to enter NASCAR. Not only laymen but the experts also agree with this. For the NASCAR fan, there is something for him or her in every series of NASCAR. He or she might like one series more than the other, but that does not mean that they do not enjoy all three of them. If you are a true NASCAR fan, you love them all.
